In banking, more than any other field, community trust is crucial for success. We have their money, which represents their futures, their hopes, their dreams for themselves and their children. This is why I have made the welfare of key stakeholders—customers, employees, and the public—the cornerstone of my career. It’s also why, I believe, I consistently drive institutions to expansive growth. When properly done, what’s good for the community is good for the company.
My background in accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cost reduction, and risk management give me the expertise to work with management to develop tactical strategies and innovative solutions to turn around under-performing institutions. Strategic team-development is crucial, and sales methods focused on relationship management and conversation prospecting drive growth. In addition, a positive, professional environment in which employees feel respected and are encouraged to grow also improves performance.
Coupling these internal strategies with external efforts, I personally spearhead and prioritize community involvement and development efforts. In addition to being on the board of many charitable and community organizations in the state, I established and led an advisory board for Colorado leaders. Not only are these activities personally rewarding, they develop connections which help me to create a strong bond with the community as well as create strategic partnerships that are mutually beneficial.
My focus on growth and peak efficiency has also allowed me to successfully work in mergers and acquisitions, as well as open a full-service De Novo bank and brokerage office.
